After some research I decided to go with CSL for my solar pool heating needs. I met with the sales guy and soon had the install scheduled. Install was done in a day (a little less). Everything was done well and they even used my own house paint to paint the white PVC piping so it doesn't stand out against the house. The following week Jeff (the owner) came by to check the installation and provide information on how to operate and maintain the system. His explanations were in-depth and easy to understand. The highlight of the visit though was when Jeff discovered that some exposed wiring for one of my pool valves had been nibbled on by pack rats (big surprise, we live in Tucson) resulting in the valve not working. Jeff took it upon himself to replace the wiring and ensure that the valve was now working. This had nothing to do with the solar pool heater installation and he could have had me get it fixed myself. Instead, he did it himself. You rarely if ever see that level of service. If I need further solar work or am asked for a recommendation, Jeff and CSL are at the top of my list. Thanks so much for the extra effort.

If you're looking for solar this is your place. Great price, great service. Locally owned, they won't sell you anything you don't need. Jeff, the owner, very down to earth, knows his stuff, they all do. Mike Guthrie is awesome. I used them in 2020 for a new install and its still working great. Just added three addition panels.

I interviewed five or six solar companies before getting our panels installed with custom Solar. Mike, who came out to see me, was very knowledgeable, and had no song and dance to try to get you to choose their company. Only decades of industry expertise and the calm, confident manner of a fellow who knows what he’s talking about. He penciled everything out the old-fashioned way, on a piece of paper with no flashy graphics, or sales tactics that I noticed from “the other guys.” His demeanor and excellent value proposed really sold me on the company and then the CEO Jeff delivered beyond expectations. His team was timely and highly professional, even assisted with certain electrical issues that had nothing to do with solar, that is to say they went above and beyond. Jeff has always been responsive, and his follow-through has been impeccable, as he demonstrated when he replaced an under performing panel, without any necessity for me to keep checking in, or any hoops whatsoever to jump through. I couldn’t recommend them enough, and I’ll certainly be using them again for any solar/home battery/etc needs.

Jeff Shoemaker the owner is great, the cost was very competitive. He went through the on-phone app to make sure we could track our saved energy. The sales, installation and cost all exceeded our expectations!

We are very happy with our recent Custom Solar and Leisure rooftop solar panels installation. Jeff and his crew were responsive, answered all of our questions and were great to work with. They were competitively priced and the equipment is highly rated.

Decent product, supposedly good warranty. Communication from the company is nonexistent. VERY expensive. Would not refer to anyone.

I had an excellent experience having Custom Solar and Leisure installing solar panels for our house and solar coils for our pool. There quote was very competitive and the equipment and installation were top quality. Highly recommend
