Jeff Shoemaker, a Tucson native, founded Custom Solar and Leisure, LLC in 2007, with the goal of providing affordable solar alternatives with the highest quality workmanship and products. After graduating college in 1999 with a major in chemistry and a minor in environmental studies, he began his 10+ year career in the solar industry. Jeff Shoemaker currently sits on the board of the Southern Arizona Solar Standards Board and is strongly committed to the highest standards of Solar Power Installation.
“After graduating from Calvin College in 1999 with a BS in chemistry and a minor in environmental studies, I began my solar career in Oregon installing solar water heating and solar pool heating. I transferred back to Tucson, where I was born and raised, to broaden my experience installing photovoltaic systems as well.
